PradeepIT, a globally recognized IT consulting firm and certified “Great Place to Work,” is seeking an experienced Scripting Developer. This is a fully remote position joining a team that serves high-profile clients like SAP, Bosch, and Rolls-Royce.
The Role: Development & Collaboration
As a Scripting Developer, you will be primarily responsible for building PRASE scripts based on technical specifications. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work in a “pair programming” style alongside Business Analysts to ensure technical solutions meet specific business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Script Development: Design and develop robust scripts using Perl and Python.
- Pair Programming: Work closely with Business Analysts to translate complex business requirements into functional scripts.
- Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all scripts developed.
- Effort Estimation: Provide accurate time and resource estimates for new scripting projects.
- Strategic Configuration: Identify ways to use business logic and application configurations to achieve customer objectives.
- Efficiency: Optimize code to meet high-performance standards for global enterprise customers.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Expertise
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in Perl and Python development.
- Proven ability to work with customers and analysts to unpack and understand business needs.
- Experience with Policy Administration systems is a significant advantage.
Industry Knowledge (Nice to Have)
- Experience implementing North American Life & Annuity (L&A) products.
- Familiarity with Group and Individual North American L&A markets.
- Background in supporting Life, Health, or Annuity insurance products.
