As a Branch Manager, you will serve as the primary sales leader of the branch, accountable for acquiring, deepening, and retaining customer relationships. The Onboarding: Branch Manager Readiness Program Your journey begins with the Branch Manager Readiness Program, a structured and supportive transition framework. Participants gain hands-on experience through guidance, mentorship, job shadowing, and practical learning opportunities in day-to-day branch operations. Successful completion of this program is required to transition into a permanent Branch Manager position, with final branch assignment based on local business needs and availability.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Leading the Team: Providing strong, inclusive leadership to build and retain a high-performing branch team, establishing clear expectations, and managing performance through targeted coaching.
- Driving Growth: Leading your branch team to proactively identify customer financial needs and deliver tailored consumer and business solutions that drive both customer value and corporate outcomes.
- Coaching Routines: Using daily branch manager routines to build individual capability, confidence, and productivity through consistent observations, feedback, and strict accountability.
- Partnering Internally: Coordinating closely with internal sales partners across Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending to maximize relationship depth and provide a seamless client experience.
- Promoting Digital Adoption: Identifying opportunities to make banking easier for customers by educating them on available digital and mobile self-service options.
- Managing Risk: Proactively managing operational risk, resolving local compliance issues, and modeling strict adherence to banking policies, regulations, and loss prevention controls.

The Essentials:
- Deep Banking Experience: 5+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
- Proven Leadership: 2+ years of direct management and leadership experience.

- Segment Management: Demonstrated success coaching teams to manage affluent, high-net-worth, and business customer segments by identifying complex financial needs.
- Compliance Fluency: A rock-solid understanding of banking laws, regulations, compliance controls, and operational risk management.
Job Expectations & Logistics
- Schedule: The ability to work a flexible schedule that includes most Saturdays.
- Travel: Ability to travel within your assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months of training.
- Licensing: SAFE registration is required at the time of employment, and Wells Fargo will initiate the process after your start date. This includes clearing financial fitness and criminal background screenings.
