Website wealth.com
Wealth.com is the industry leading platform for AI powered tax and estate planning, trusted by advisory firms, broker dealers, and private banks to deliver continuous tax analysis and coordinated estate strategies in one unified system.
This position at Wealth.com is entirely different. You aren’t just managing a client; you are being hired to own and execute the relationship with one of the absolute titans of the financial world: Charles Schwab.
Wealth.com is an aggressive, award-winning AI wealth management platform (voted #1 in estate planning market share in the 2025 Kitces Study). Because their platform leverages proprietary AI, deep tax expertise, and complex estate planning workflows, Schwab can’t just plug it in and walk away. They need an elite, cross-functional operator to sit at the intersection of product, strategy, compliance, and relationship building.
The Core Mandate
This role is specifically designed for a strategic chameleon. Wealth.com explicitly states they don’t want a traditional account manager. They want someone who thinks like a strategist, builds like a product leader, and executes like a program owner.
Your daily and quarterly focus will be broken down into four core quadrants:
1. Strategic Schwab Leadership
You will own the post-implementation adoption across Schwab’s massive, multi-entity, multi-vertical enterprise. You’ll be tasked with building trust with executive stakeholders, diving deep into their internal decision-making frameworks, and delivering high-level Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). When the platform hits a barrier due to Schwab’s legacy systems or data privacy restrictions, you are the person who untangles it.
2. Ambiguous Strategy Execution
You will lead “zero-to-one” initiatives. This means implementing brand-new AI workflows, tax-planning tools, or client experiences with no historical precedent at Schwab. You have to build the structure, define the milestones, and create forward momentum when the path forward is completely foggy.
3. The Ultimate Corporate Connective Tissue
You are the translator between two very different worlds. Internally, you will represent the voice of Schwab to Wealth.com’s engineering, legal, product, and compliance teams to shape the product roadmap. Externally, you will partner with Schwab’s internal risk, compliance, and tech departments to assure them that Wealth.com’s AI engine aligns perfectly with their enterprise governance.
4. High-Level Executive Storytelling
You will be regularly presenting to C-suite executives and institutional leaders. You must be able to distill terrifyingly complex AI governance, legal frameworks, and product metrics into clean, highly persuasive, and actionable narratives.
Who fits this position?
Because you are handling an account of Schwab’s magnitude, the requirements are :
The COMPULSORY Requirements
- 7+ Years of Enterprise Experience: A proven mix of strategic account management, product leadership, and business strategy specifically within financial services or AI-powered wealth-tech.
- Institutional Fluency: You must have a deep understanding of the constraints of a multi-entity financial institution, specifically, how it handles risk, compliance, data governance, and legacy technology.
- Ambiguity Stamina: A verified track record of taking massive, loosely defined projects with no blueprint and successfully driving them to measurable business outcomes.
The Major Competitive Advantages (Preferred)
- The Credentials: An MBA or a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation is highly preferred and will immediately vault your application to the top of the pile.
- The Background: Direct experience designing or launching complex tax planning/financial planning workflows, or a formal background in enterprise platform strategy and experience design.
What True Success Looks Like in This Role
You will know you are crushing this role when Schwab no longer views Wealth.com as a software vendor but as an indispensable strategic partner. Success means moving the needle on actual user adoption within Schwab’s advisory networks, influencing internal product priorities based on real enterprise feedback, and maintaining absolute alignment between both leadership teams even when navigating heavy tech constraints.
How to Apply and Capture Attention
This is a fully remote position, but given the client’s scale, the hiring team will be looking for an incredibly polished executive presence. When you submit your profile:
- Lead with Enterprise Scale: Your resume should explicitly name the size and scale of the financial institutions you have managed in the past. If you’ve worked with companies like Vanguard, Fidelity, or multi-billion dollar RIAs, put that front and center.
- Highlight the “Zero-to-One” Moments: Frame your past achievements in terms of ambiguity. Don’t just list your tasks; tell the story of a time you were handed a complex, unprecedented project with no instructions, mobilized cross-functional teams, and turned it into a high-revenue reality.
- Bridge Tech and Wealth Management: Ensure your cover letter showcases that you speak both “wealth advisor” and “software engineer.” They need someone who can effortlessly talk about tax code compliance in one meeting and API integrations in the next.
