Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Premier Banker to serve as a high-level financial partner at the Columbiana Center branch. This is a senior retail ging affluent clients and handling complex financial needs. As the primary point of contact banking position designed for experienced professionals who specialize in manat for a defined book of business, you will move beyond basic transactions to provide holistic, advice-led financial strategies.

What the Job is Really About

A Senior Premier Banker acts as a personal financial consultant within the branch. You are responsible for growing and deepening relationships with high-net-worth individuals and business owners through proactive outreach and pre-planned appointments.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: You will own and actively grow a specific book of business, focusing on long-term relationship retention rather than just one-off sales.
  • Goals-Based Planning: You’ll lead discovery conversations to understand a client’s life stages and translate those goals into integrated solutions across deposits, investments, credit, and home lending.
  • Internal Networking: You will act as a “concierge” for your clients, coordinating warm introductions to specialists in Wealth Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending.
  • Peer Mentorship: As a senior member of the branch, you’ll advise and coach your colleagues on how to manage complex client needs and relationship development.
  • Risk Oversight: You are responsible for ensuring all documentation and client interactions meet strict regulatory and risk management standards.

The Licensing Path (LP to SAFE)

If you are not currently licensed, you may be hired as a Senior Branch Premier Banker LP (License Pending). This is a temporary role while you participate in the Branch Network Licensed Banker program. You will be required to obtain:

  • FINRA Series 6 & 63 (and the SIE exam).
  • State Insurance Licenses.
  • Depending on your state, the Series 65 may also be required within a specific timeframe. Once licensed and SAFE registered, you will transition into the full Senior Premier Banker role.

What You Need to Get the Job

Wells Fargo is looking for a blend of high-level service experience and financial expertise.

Required:

  • 4+ years of customer service experience.
  • 3+ years of building effective relationships with partners and customers.
  • 3+ years of experience recommending financial products and services.

Desired Qualities:

  • Financial Services Veteran: Experience in consumer lending, investments, or business banking.
  • Sales Hunter: A proven ability to proactively source and acquire new affluent clients.
  • Coaching Experience: A history of supporting or mentoring peers to improve team performance.
  • Communication Mastery: The ability to build credibility and trust quickly with high-net-worth individuals.
