Remote Senior Customer Success Manager  at Bask Health

Website BASK HEALTH

Bask provides a full service software that allows you to build any digital health experience. Built for entrepreneurs, doctors, and developers, the Bask system was built at enterprise scale for the everyday user.

This is absolutely not that kind of job. Bask Health is hiring a remote Senior Customer Success Manager, and they are running a completely different playbook.

Bask Health is a fast-growing startup that builds the infrastructure for the digital medicine revolution. They provide the backend software that lets entrepreneurs and brands launch their own Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) telehealth companies without having to build electronic medical records, pharmacy networks, or compliance systems from scratch.

Because they operate in the high-stakes, highly regulated healthcare space, they need someone incredibly sharp, deeply technical, and completely comfortable with modern tech. Here is the unfiltered truth about what this job actually looks like.

The Reality of the job

If you are intimidated by data dashboards or custom software, you will struggle here. Bask Health explicitly states that their customer success team operates AI-first.

  • AI Is a Mandatory Collaborator: They expect you to use Large Language Models (LLMs) as your automatic starting point for everything. You will use AI to structure complex client problems, draft communications, and build internal workflows. They want someone who treats AI like a real teammate to speed up operations, not as a side experiment.
  • Building Logic Workflows: A massive part of your day-to-day will involve building logic-based intake questionnaires (the asynchronous medical forms patients fill out online) directly inside Bask’s software. If you don’t know how conditional logic, branching pathways, and conditional workflows operate, this isn’t the right sandbox for you.
  • True, Unfiltered Account Ownership: You are the ultimate protector of your accounts. When an enterprise client hits a roadblock with an order routing issue or a software glitch at an awkward hour, you are expected to step in, triage the issue yourself, and see it through to the end.

What Their Startup Culture Actually Demands

Bask operates under a philosophy of Extreme Ownership. Their core principles give you a clear warning of what it takes to survive and thrive on their team:

  1. They want people who make fast decisions and execute immediately. They explicitly state it’s okay if things go wrong—they just don’t want you paralyzed by fear.
  2.  Don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis. Trust your instincts to make a move, and then use the data later to validate your decisions and clean up the edges.
  3. They want bold, massive ideas. If you prefer safe, tiny, incremental adjustments over disruptive changes, your style will clash with their leadership.

What You Need to Bring to the Table

To get past their screening filters, your background needs to show a unique blend of high-level relationship management and raw technical fluency:

  • Full-Lifecycle Mastery: A proven history of taking a customer through the messy initial onboarding phase, driving user adoption, setting up their technical workflows, and successfully tracking expansion, upsells, and contract renewals.
  • Analytical Mindset: The ability to look at customer engagement metrics, spot exactly where patients are dropping out of a client’s telehealth funnel, and proactively recommend creative software solutions to fix it.
  • Startup Stamina: You need to be a low-ego, exceptionally positive person who genuinely enjoys wearing five different hats in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

How to Get Your Application Noticed

Because Bask is an AI-first company, sending an obviously copy-and-pasted, AI-generated cover letter or a generic resume is a guaranteed way to get instantly rejected. They know what AI text looks like, and they want to see how you apply human judgment to refine it. In your application, don’t just talk about how much you enjoy helping people. Highlight your technical problem-solving. Talk about a time you built a complex branching workflow, saved a massive account that was on the edge of churning, or used data to optimize a client’s business. Show them you have the independence to run your own
