The Role: Clinical Success & Strategy As a member of our Customer Success Team, you aren’t just managing accounts: you are a high-level clinical advisor. Your goal is to ensure our clients extract maximum value from their pharmacy benefits through data-driven analysis and expert consultation. You will act as the bridge between clinical data and operational leadership, turning complex pharmaceutical trends into actionable business strategies.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Strategic Consultation: Serve as the clinical “North Star” for your clients, providing deep insights into drug spend, utilization patterns, and formulary compliance.
- Trend Management: Proactively analyze claims data to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging pharmacy trends before they impact the bottom line.
- Program Advocacy: Clearly articulate the value of SmithRx’s clinical programs and formulary strategies, helping clients understand the “why” behind our recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with internal Account Management and Clinical Operations teams to lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and provide clinical guidance on benefit design.
- Market Intelligence: Stay at the forefront of the industry, translating market shifts and new treatment guidelines into polished, executive-level presentations for your clients.
What You Bring to the Team
- Clinical Credentials: You hold a PharmD or RPh with a current, unrestricted pharmacist license.
- Deep Experience: You have spent 5+ years as a licensed pharmacist and at least 3+ years in a client-facing role (working with corporate stakeholders, not just patients/prescribers).
- Industry Knowledge: A strong background in healthcare benefits, commercial insurance, or the PBM sector is highly preferred.
- Executive Presence: You are a master of high-level communication, capable of developing and delivering formal presentations to leadership teams.
- Consultative Mindset: You are an empathetic communicator who looks at problems from the client’s perspective and takes the initiative to solve them without being asked.
