We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to own the commercial success of our most vital customers. Think of yourself as the CEO of the account. You aren’t just managing a contract; you are a strategic partner responsible for ensuring our clients realize increasing value from Fingerprint while expanding our presence across their global teams and use cases. This is a high-visibility role that requires a blend of executive presence and deep business acumen.

You will be the bridge between our technical excellence and our commercial growth, ensuring that our most strategic customers stay for the long haul.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:

  • Commercial Ownership: You’ll own the end-to-end relationship for our top accounts, leading everything from renewals and pricing discussions to complex multi-year contract negotiations.
  • Strategic Planning: You’ll develop multi-year account plans that align a customer’s business goals with our product roadmap, ensuring we stay essential to their success.
  • Fueling Expansion: You’ll identify new opportunities for growth across different regions and use cases, turning technical wins into commercial expansion.
  • Building Executive Bridges: You’ll develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and economic buyers, navigating complex organizations to find new ways Fingerprint can help.
  • Internal Advocacy: You’ll act as the voice of the customer within Fingerprint, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure our roadmap reflects what our biggest clients need most.

What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for a seasoned professional who can navigate the complexities of B2B SaaS and technical platforms.

The Essentials:

  • Proven Track Record: You have 6–10 years in Account Management or Enterprise Sales, with a history of managing large, complex accounts.
  • Technical Comfort: You’ve worked with technical products before—think developer tools, security, or infrastructure. You can hold your own in conversations about data and fraud.
  • Growth Mindset: You have a strong track record of not just keeping customers, but growing them through proactive upsell and cross-sell motions.
  • Strategic Thinking: You don’t just hit quotas; you build multi-year strategies that account for ROI and long-term business outcomes.
  • Remote Proficiency: You’re a pro with macOS and thrive in a fully remote environment using Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom.

Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $110,000 – $130,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $150,000 – $180,000
  • Note: Final offers are determined by experience, expertise, and geographic location.
