Website ORIGAM RISK
We support the risk and insurance ecosystem in building more resilient businesses.
If you have a strong background in tech and a sharp business mindset, this is a massive role. Origami Risk is hiring a Technical Partnerships Manager to basically own, scale, and monetize their third-party partner ecosystem inside the Origami Marketplace.
This isn’t just a regular account management job. You’ll be sitting right at the intersection of business strategy and software engineering, identifying new partner opportunities, building a premium paid partnership program, and working directly with engineers to make sure the software integrations actually work seamlessly.
Salary detail
Origami Risk pays incredibly well for this level of ownership:
- Base Salary: $140,000 to $175,000 (depending on your experience, skills, and location).
- Bonuses: This role is fully eligible for performance-based bonuses.
- The Benefits: Top-tier medical, dental, and vision, a solid 401(k) company match, life insurance, wellness reimbursements, and a flexible time-off policy for vacation and sick leave.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
You are the ultimate bridge between corporate partners, sales teams, and the engineering department. Your main focus areas will be:
- Running the Business Side: You’ll be managing a real revenue target and building out annual financial forecasts. You’re responsible for hunting down new tech partnerships, negotiating agreements, and expanding Origami’s Premium Partnership program.
- Guiding the Engineers: You don’t need to write code yourself, but you have to speak the language. You will work side-by-side with the Integrations Engineering team, translating a partner’s technical capabilities into clear, actionable requirements for new software connectors.
- Supporting the Sales Team: You will team up with Technical Sales to make sure the partner tools look flawless in sales demos, keeping partner accounts and testing environments running smoothly.
Are You the Person They’re Looking For?
While the listing doesn’t specify a strict checklist of degrees, the daily responsibilities make it obvious who will thrive here:
- The Commercial Thinker: You know how to negotiate software contracts, structure revenue-sharing deals, and treat a marketplace ecosystem like a major business driver.
- The Tech-Savvy Translator: You understand how APIs, data integrations, and software ecosystems connect, and you can explain complex technical ideas to non-technical business partners without breaking a sweat.
- The Matrix Navigator: You are incredibly comfortable working cross-functionally across legal, sales, engineering, and external executive teams.
