What the Job Actually Looks Like

This is a high-visibility, remote-friendly role within the Client Services division. Your main focus will be keeping large-scale enterprise software projects from going off the rails.

  • Project Guardrails: You will track and analyze project scopes, schedules, and budgets.If a project starts creeping out of scope or running a deficit, you’ll be the one to build the mitigation strategy and present it to leadership.
  • Resource Coordination: You’ll act as the central hub, coordinating internal engineering teams, product specialists, and external third-party vendors or consultants.
  • Pipeline & Documentation: You will maintain the active project pipeline, create exhaustive project documentation, and formally hand things over to the operations team once a project wraps up.

What You Need to Bring

Intapp is looking for a blend of technical project tracking and exceptional relationship management:

  • The Sweet Spot: 5 to 7 years of experience as a Project or Engagement Manager. They explicitly want someone who has managed enterprise software rollouts.
  • Industry Edge (Bonus): If you have a background working within or serving the legal, financial, or professional services sectors, your resume will immediately jump to the top of the pile. This is because Intapp’s entire client base lives in these fields.
  • The Tools: Deep experience with modern project management software, task scheduling methodologies, and the standard MS Office suite.
  • Soft Skills: You need to be incredibly comfortable working under pressure with large, highly diverse virtual teams and possess top-tier client-facing communication skills.
