Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch Network in  Jones Valley – Huntsville, AL. This relationship-focused role is designed for growth-oriented financial professionals who specialize in managing and deepening relationships with affluent clients and those with complex financial portfolios.

If you are not fully licensed at the time of hire, you will enter the role as a temporary Senior Branch Premier Banker LP (license pending) and participate in the Branch Network Licensed Banker program until your registration and licensing requirements are fully completed.

What the Role Actually Looks Like

As the primary point of contact for an affluent book of business, your daily operations will blend proactive client management with cross-department collaboration:

  • Relationship Growth: You will actively get new affluent consumer and business clients while building bonds existing ties through strategic outreach, pre-planned appointments, and lobby engagement.
  • Discovery-Driven Advice: You will lead deep financial planning conversations to translate complex customer goals into  strategies spanning deposits, investments, credit, and business banking.
  • Internal Partnerships: You will act as a central coordinator, executing warm introductions and collaborating closely with specialists across Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking to close multi-product opportunities.
  • Digital & Team Leadership: You will champion mobile and self-service digital adoption for clients while simultaneously advising branch colleagues on how to manage complex client needs.
  • Risk Excellence: You will manage strict compliance and control outcomes through accurate documentation, sound judgment, and tight adherence to banking policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of customer service experience (or an equivalent combination of education, training, or military experience).
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective customer and partner relationships.
  • 3+ years of experience actively recommending products and services.

Desired Qualifications & Technical Licenses:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a licensed financial services role.
  • Prior financial services experience explicitly covering consumer banking, home lending, business banking, or investments.
  • Successful completion of the FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams (or recognized equivalents) to qualify for immediate registration.
  • Active State Insurance licenses.
  • A proven track record of managing a book of business, sourcing leads via proactive outreach, and coaching peers to elevate overall team performance.
