InsightSoftware is seeking a 100% remote User Interface (UI) Designer to join its newly established UX team within the Certent Equity Management (CEM) product organization.
In this foundational role, you will report directly to the UX Manager for Equity. Your primary job will be designing intuitive, visually consistent, and production-ready interfaces for the CEM platform. You will take complex financial workflows, such as equity compensation tracking, and turn them into clean, easy-to-use digital experiences for finance teams, plan administrators, stock participants, and brokerage partners.
What You Will Do
- Design Clean Interfaces: Create intuitive, production-ready, and visually polished interfaces across the entire Certent Equity Management platform.
- Establish Design Systems: Help build and establish the core design system, component library, and visual language that will define both the current product and its next-generation architecture.
- Simplify Complex Data: Translate dense financial data and multi-step equity compensation workflows into highly usable, elegant screens.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to ensure design decisions are grounded in user research and built with high fidelity.
What You Need to Know
They are looking for a visual problem-solver who can bridge the gap between complex enterprise software and modern design aesthetics. You will need:
- UI/UX Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your experience designing clean layouts, interface interactions, and consistent visual systems for web applications.
- Enterprise Software Familiarity: The ability to look at complicated data-heavy dashboards (like those used in finance, accounting, or equity tracking) and simplify them for the end-user.
- Design Tool Mastery: Advanced proficiency with modern interface design software (such as Figma) to build out shared component libraries and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborative Mindset: Comfort working alongside technical developers to ensure your visual designs are accurately translated into working code.
