Website EY

At EY, our purpose is building a better working world. The insights and services we provide help to create long-term value for clients, people and society, and to build trust in the capital markets.

If you’ve been looking for a way to break into a global consulting giant while keeping a solid hybrid balance, EY GDS Poland just posted an opening for a Senior Service Design Consultant. This is explicitly a hybrid role based out of Katowice, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days remote per week. EY GDS just opened an operational center in Katowice, and they are building out a team of customer experience (CX) innovators.

The Role at a Glance

You’ll be stepping in as a Senior Consultant. This isn’t a passive UI design job or a basic linter role. EY wants someone who can look at complex, multi-layered services and completely rebuild how humans interact with them.

Your Main Role

  • Deep Research: Digging into user data to figure out where digital and physical services are breaking down.
  • Service Blueprinting: Mapping out high-level customer journeys, building personas, and mapping backend processes to make sure everything connects smoothly.

  • Co-creation & Workshops: Getting clients, engineers, and stakeholders into a room (or Miro board) and facilitating Design Thinking sessions.
    The Design Project
  • Iterative Prototyping: Testing service flows, measuring success metrics, and proving value before things go to production.

What’s in it for you?

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) handles massive multinational clients. If you join, you’re stepping into an intercultural environment spanning nine different countries. They offer standard corporate benefits—continuous training, a clear track for career progression, and a highly structured, client-focused corporate ecosystem. But the real selling point is the hybrid flexibility (3 days home, 2 days office) coupled with the chance to help launch and shape a brand-new hub in Katowice.

If you have a portfolio that proves you can untangle messy corporate processes and turn them into intuitive human experiences, they are looking to hire quickly.
